I would like to tell all that my dad went into the hospital last wenesday with a mild heart attack and congestive heart failure.He is 95 years old and we don't think he will ever get out of the hospital.He says he is in no pain and he does know everybody at this time.He also sleeps alot .Please fogive me if i don't logon for awhile ,I am at the hospital a lot and don't have time.Thanks for the understanding in this matter. I wish you and your Dad well RAW. Sorry to hear to this news. I could not imagine the things he has seen in his lifetime of 95 years so far. I have also not been here much this week as I had a friend pass away on Monday. Our Prayers go out to you and your family RAW.

P.S. buried my dad in 1981, he was only 57 and i still feel like i got cheated!!!!

Thanks to you all. this is just an update. He is holding his own and there has been no change as of this post.His blood preasure is kinda low.He is not out of the woods yet ,but as long as he is no worse i guess that is good. Again Thanks to you all RAW

I am sorry to report that my daddy died on may 29 . He was 95 .things are a little crazy around here right now and i will get back on the board when things calm down.thank for all the support in this ordeal.RAW

NEWBERRY — Allen Newton Crosson, Jr., 95, beloved husband of the late Virginia Ballentine Crosson who predeceased him in 1996, entered into rest in University Hospital, Augusta, GA, Monday, May 29, 2006. Mr. Crosson was a farmer in Newberry County. He was a 1931 graduate of Newberry College and a member of Newberry A.R.P. Church where he had worshipped since 1939. He was the son of the late Marie R. and Allen N. Crosson, Sr. of Prosperity.
